A pastel picture-trivia party for Vision Pro. Play solo with your morning coffee, or jump into a SharePlay session with friends and laugh at how wrong everyone is.
No accounts, no tutorials, no waiting for a download mid-party. Open the app, hit Play, and you're in a round in under ten seconds.
One of 171 hand-picked photos โ animals, food, sports, video games, everyday objects. Easy mode shows the full image; hard mode hides half of it behind black squares.
Four options show up under the image. The trick: three of them come from the same category, so "๐ Tomato" sits next to "Carrot, Onion, Potato". No gimmes.
+1 for the first correct tap. โ1 for a wrong guess (so guessing wild costs you). Ten rounds, then a podium. The slowest person always loses, which is half the fun.
Tick categories on or off before each game. Play just video games with a friend, or open the whole pool for a chaotic family round.
The picture shows fully. Categories help, the photo does the rest. Perfect with kids, with grandma, or as a warm-up.
Half the picture is hidden behind a black checkerboard. You see colors, shapes, fragments โ and you have to guess from a sliver. Mean. Funny. Replayable.
Up to a roomful of friends on visionOS, all looking at the same picture, racing to tap the right word first.
No friends online, no setup, no pressure. Open the app, pick "Solo", and play through a 10-round set on your own.
No AI-generated soup. Each picture was hand-picked, cropped, and tagged in two languages.
The same picture, the right word in your language. Play with friends across languages without translating.
One game = roughly 5 minutes. Perfect aperitif length. Not the kind of party app that overstays its welcome.
20+ visionOS themes โ sunset, ocean, aurora, frosted glass. Match the room you're in.
No accounts, no analytics, no ads. The only data the app stores is your player name (on-device).
No "premium categories" locked behind a paywall. All 171 photos, all 10 categories, both difficulties โ included.
No catch. Image Guess has no in-app purchases, no ads, no premium tier, no "watch a video to unlock the cats category". I built this as a fun spatial-party project and it stays free. The 171 photos and 10 categories you see on the App Store page is everything in the app.
Yes โ Image Guess is a visionOS app, built specifically for Apple Vision Pro. It uses Spatial Personas in SharePlay so friends appear around a shared board. There's no iPhone, iPad, or Mac version (yet).
Yes. SharePlay on visionOS requires every participant to have the app installed and updated. Since it's free, that's a one-tap install for everyone before the party.
The first player to tap the correct word scores +1. Wrong taps cost โ1 (minimum 0, you can't go negative). If nobody answers within 30 seconds, nobody scores. After 10 rounds, the highest score wins the podium.
It overlays a black checkerboard on top of the picture โ roughly half the pixels are masked in alternating squares. You can still see shapes, dominant colors, the silhouette, but details disappear. Try guessing a "cherry" vs "raspberry" with half the image gone. Genuinely tough.
Not yet. The current build ships with 171 curated photos. If enough people ask for a custom-photo mode, I'll look at adding it.
Because Pictionaryยฎ (Mattel) and Heads Up!ยฎ (Warner Bros) are registered trademarks for different games. Image Guess is its own thing โ multiple-choice picture trivia, not a drawing game or a charades game. Different mechanic, different name.
Image Guess is free on the App Store. Solo round in 60 seconds, SharePlay party in two FaceTime taps.
